Summary: Eddie is blue until he isn't.
“…decorations of red on a green Christmas tree …”
Eddie had never been a fan of Christmas carols, but as he mumbled pleasantries to a concerned-looking Mrs. Chen, it seemed Elvis was singing right from his own heart.
Eddie stepped out onto the sidewalk as a city bus rolled by.
BAM!
And then, once again, Eddie could no longer call his body completely his own.
“The prodigal symbiote.”
You were right, Eddie, playing elf to a shopping mall Santa Claus was not the authentic human experience I was looking for.
And just like that, Eddie’s Christmas wasn’t so blue anymore.
