I walk along, beneath a velvet sky that's sprinkled with bright stars. The night is cold, and my breath puffs out in frosty condensation. It's beautiful out here.

Perhaps it's risky to be out alone on such a cold night, far from the warmth of my house. But I'm here to meet someone special. Soon, I'll have company on this walk I'm taking.

I should be seeing him any minute, now.

And then.

There he is. That familiar dash of stars that makes my heart feel glad again. Orion. The first constellation I ever learned as a young girl. We've kept each other waiting for months. Now our annual reunion's come along at last.
