Rachel and Phoebe sank wearily into the couch at Central Perk, waiting for the cocoa and gingerbread cookies they'd just ordered.
"I can't believe we spent the whole day out in the park building snowmen," Rachel grinned. She blew into her hands, rubbing them together. "My God, I think my fingers are numb."
Phoebe shrugged, then winced; her shoulders were aching from the activity. "It was worth it, though."
"But you talked me into ditching an entire day of work. What if my boss had seen me? And don't you think we might've looked a little silly out there, acting like two little girls? At our age?"
"We're not ancient," Phoebe gently scolded. "And, if anyone caught us in the act who might be too much of a fuddy-duddy to appreciate a good time, then screw other peoples' opinions. Did you have fun? I did. That's all that counts."
