Notes: Sequel to last year's 'Mistletoe'
"You humans sure have some weird traditions," Shippō remarked.
Miroku regarded the small kitsune curiously. "Well, I suppose it's all a matter of perspective. Is there any particular tradition that you're talking about, or is this only in general?"
Shippō pointed to a nearby tree. "There's a lot of mistletoe in that tree. I overheard Kagome telling Inuyasha that there are places where people kiss under that stuff."
"Oh?" Intrigued, Miroku raised an eyebrow. He went to the tree, taking in every berried sprig. Some pleasant mental images were beginning to take shape. "Is that so," he pensively wondered. Then, as casually as he could make the question: "Shippō, you haven't seen Sango around, by any chance, have you?"
"No." Realization dawned, and Shippō's eyes narrowed in suspicion as he glanced at the monk. "Come to think of it, I also remember Kagome suggesting that nobody should tell you about kissing under mistletoe. I can't imagine why..."
Miroku chuckled nervously. "Neither can I."
