Frustrated, Davy swatted Micky's hand away from the bowl that he'd been continually digging into. "Micky, will you stop eating the bloody popcorn," he demanded, gripping a needle and thread. "I'm trying to string it so that I can put it on the Christmas tree!"
Pouting, Micky rubbed his fingers. "I can't help it, man! Even without the butter and salt, it's delicious! And I'm starving!"
Davy gawked. "You had three cheeseburgers for dinner, washed down with the biggest milkshake I think I've ever seen; and I just watched you polish off the rest of the rocky road ice cream we were all eating last night! It can't have been more than five minutes since you last ate. How in the world can you possibly be hungry?!"
Micky shrugged carelessly. "Don't know. Just lucky, I guess."
