"Guys, our stockings are lookin' kinda threadbare," Mike announced. He held up one sorry specimen. "This one's even got a hole in it."
Davy folded his arms across his chest. "And it's not like we can splurge and buy ourselves some new ones. Besides, grown men are pretty old to leave out stockings for Santa Claus."
"Maybe," Peter conceded. "But there's nothing that any of us have to lose by leaving the hanging. They make nice decorations, in any event."
Micky grinned. "That's if they didn't look so scruffy and worn out. Does anybody know how to darn a sock?"
