"What the heck happened to you," Mike asked, amusedly awestruck.
Micky sat in front of their Christmas tree. By now, it ought to have been decorated. But Micky himself was festooned with piles of glitter and shiny garlands.
"You look..." Mike began to chortle. "Sorry--you look like a cat who got a bit crazy with a ball of yarn!"
"That's just about how I feel," Micky sighed, squirming. "Man, this stuff itches!"
"Well, what happened?"
"I was trying to detangle the lights. But they wouldn't come undone. I guess, in my struggle, I got a little overactive."
