Sweet little baby, please never cry
Santa will come visit you by and by
He's gonna give your heart a lift
Bringing you joy and a pretty gift

See his reindeer; watch them fly
As they soar through a midnight sky
Dream of toys and candy sweet
You'll awaken to a Christmas treat

Write to him when you're old enough
Though being good can sure be tough
Santa will know you, and no mistake
But he won't come when you're awake

So, little baby, don't make a peep
Santa will come when you're asleep
You will smile and laugh and play
When you wake up on Christmas Day
