"Wow," Max chuckled. "Think you've got enough decorations up, Ted?"
Ted's house looked like a composite of every Christmas card that anyone had ever received in the recent history of the holiday. Shimmering angels competed for space with toy laden sleighs and dancing elves up on the rooftop. Huge inflatable Grinches and Santas and hologram plastic ornaments cluttered up the lawn. Even Ted's RV had been done up to look like a massive gift, and everything was outlined in rows of LED lights.
Ted grinned sheepishly. "Do you suppose I overdid it this year?"
"Maybe a little bit. Just maybe."
