Summary: Suga dreams of Santa granting wishes.
“What’s your Christmas wish, Min Yoongi?”
Yoongi tried to not show surprise at opening his eyes and finding a six-foot-tall, English-speaking black man in a red suit and a white fluffy beard perched at the foot of his bed.
“Santa Claus?” he asked, equally surprised at the clarity in his English pronunciation.
The visitor pulled at his beard, revealing a thin band of elastic and a smile framed by dark stubble.
“Allen Iverson. NBA MVP. Shooting guard. Granting wishes. Whatcha want?”
“World peace. No, an end to COVID.”
“Not a genie, king. Try again.”
Yoongi frowned and gave the question more deliberate consideration.
Santa waited most patiently.
Finally, Yoongi said,
“I want to be making music until the day I die, however long that is. I want BTS members and our families to be healthy and happy. I want Holly to live a long, beautiful life. I want to make a three-pointer when it really matters.”
“You know that’s, like, four wishes, but I’ll see what I can do. The last one, though, I gotcha.”
He extended his fist, and Yoongi stretched out his to bump it.
“Thanks, Santa Iverson.”
“Merry Christmas to all and to all, nothing but net.”
