"I don't know why the guy had to fire us," Micky glumly grumbled, helping to pack their instruments into the Monkeemobile. "It wasn't fair."
Mike rolled his eyes. "Wasn't fair? Mick, the guy hired us to play at his Christmas party. Just to play."
"But I was play--"
"Doggone it, you know darn well I'm talkin' about music! We weren't gettin' paid to butt in at Charades!"
"I can't help it if I figured out all the answers before the guests did," Micky protested. "He should invite smarter guests, next time." He glanced through the car window at Peter and Davy. "And you two stop glaring at me!"
