I'm not the mod, but knowing the mods, I'm sure it'll be fine.

After all, my 'drabbles' tend to be over 1K and they never complain.

That's a good point. :) I've written a lot of over-drabble and under-drabble length, myself, and no problems.

I'll go ahead and write both; if posting two here isn't allowed, I have another community I can post one of them to, so it won't go to waste.
