"Wow," Micky exhaustedly sighed, slumping on the couch. "That was some kinda party."
Paper plates and popped Christmas crackers and snack bags were strewn about the Pad. Decorations dangled limply from every available surface. Even the Christmas tree looked worn out.
"You're telling me," Davy muttered, letting out a deep yawn. He rubbed his face. "I didn't know that many people would show up."
Mike did his best to start gathering the detritus of the party. "I'm just amazed ol' Babbitt didn't come bangin' on the door to tell us to keep it down."
"I'm amazed that nobody called the police," Peter put in.
