One night very soon, I shall far away go
Into the darkness and quiet of the snow
And let the frost take me where it will
Become forever enveloped by its chill
Until it fills me up to the very soul
Leaves my heart both ice-cold and whole
I'll feel quite at home inside that shell
And who would know, for who could ever tell
That I had with the snow clouds far away gone
And with it had become forever as one
And there will no longer be a rift
Between me and the snow's deepest of drifts
