Title: 'Kiss Mush Tea'
Fandom: Original Fiction
Characters: Original
Rating: G
Notes: Inspired by what I imagine my little boys are thinking as their second Christmas approaches
"Big brother, big brother! They did it again!" Mimi came bobbing up to where her littermate napped, pouncing.
"Ow!" Gizmo yawned, a quick little flash of crinkled eyes, white teeth, and curling tongue. "Who did what again, sis?"
Mimi bopped him on the nose. "You sleep through everything! The humans! They changed the house again!"
Getting up, Gizmo stretched, pawing their cozy bed. "How?"
"You remember that big, prickly thing they put up ages ago, with all the glowing things and sparkly stuff?" Mimi's tail twitched with curiosity and anticipation. "The humans got it out of wherever they keep it, and put it up again!"
"That's the second time," Gizmo squeaked. "I wonder why?"
Together, they scampered into the living room. Sure enough, Mimi had told the truth. Even now, the humans were putting balls and crooked things up on that strange, tall thing.
"The Kiss Mush Tee," Mimi purred.
