Akira's Go match in the latest tournament ended late that night, but Hikaru stayed anyway until he was done. Akira won, but only barely, and he didn't like that fact.
"You're overthinking again. Come on, Akira, you won. Enjoy that fact." Hikaru nudged him, shoulder to shoulder.
Akira let out a breath of air. "I suppose. It was too close for comfort though. I must do better in the next round."
"That's for tomorrow. Tonight..." Hikaru pointed upward and Akira saw a night sky full of stars. When was the last he just looked up at the stars? Almost never.
