Title: 'Not Bad'
Fandom: Doctor Who
Characters: Clara Oswald, Eleventh Doctor
Rating: G
"So this is what it's like to live inside a snow globe," Clara said. Her eyes twinkled as she stared up toward the top of the dome.
Makakpij had little in the way of a breathable atmosphere. So its settlers had erected biodomes all across the planet, each containing its own manmade environment. A tundra might be only a traveling tube away from a steaming jungle, or a windswept desert wilderness.
The Doctor, however, had brought them to a biodome with a mild, fresh-wintered climate, the air brisk. Here, it was always as though the first snows had come, and all was asparkle with holiday lights.
It was, in fact, very much like the interior of a snow globe.
The Doctor was fairly asparkle, himself, with joy. "Not bad, ey," he asked her, stooping to pick up a beret that had fallen from the smallest of a trio of snowpeople, and plopping it back on the snow child's head.
She giggled, straightening the snow papa's scarf. "I'd say it's better than only not bad."
