She lives her life for Christmas. No other time of year speaks to her quite so strongly, if any other time speaks to her, at all.
Perhaps she has tinsel in her veins. It may be that her heart is a blown-glass ornament, with holiday garlands twining around it like ivy to keep it cushioned and safe.
Or perhaps it is simply that this is the time of year when her soul feels most at home, the time when happiness most abounds. It may be that she wishes to share that joy, and to never, ever let it fade away.
