Title: Liquid Mojo
Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing/Characters: Charlie/Jo
Rating/Warnings: G
Disclaimer: here
Prompt: cocoa
Summary: Charlie’s the web genius, but Jo knows how to fix a slump.

Charlie’s eyes were starting to cross. There was literally nothing on this monster. Not in the stuff Sam had scanned in from the Men of Letters library, not on the darkweb, nothing.

“Hey.” Jo slid onto the chair beside her and set a steaming cup of cocoa on the desk before draping an arm across Charlie’s shoulders. “You’ve been at this for hours.”

Charlie rested her head on her wife’s shoulder. “That’s because I’ve lost my mojo. I should’ve found this by now.”

Jo pressed a kiss to the top of Charlie’s head. “Why do you think I brought you a steaming cup of liquid mojo?”

Charlie smiled, straightened, and took a sip. It was rich and chocolatey with a hint of cinnamon. She closed her eyes and sighed. This, this right here, was perfect. Cuddling with her wife, sipping cocoa, while the kids slept upstairs with visions of sugarplums or whatever. Probably elves, maybe the occasional orc.

Her eyes shot open and she set down the mug and started to type before she lost it. This was the lead. Had to be.

“See, you got this, babe.” Jo stroked her hand along Charlie’s hair. “Like I said, liquid mojo.”

Title: Time Well Spent
Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing/Characters: Claire Novak, Kaia Nieves, Alex Jones, Patience Turner
Rating/Warnings: G

Prompt: snowball fight … with cats
Summary: Giving Kaia the lead on this was maybe the best decision Claire had made all month, and not just because the girl needed some damn confidence.

Claire had thought she’d be the one taking the lead, but she could deal with covering munitions. Giving Kaia the lead on this was maybe the best decision she’d made all month, and not just because the girl needed some damn confidence.

“This is ridiculous!” Kaia threw another snowball and ducked back behind the wall they’d built. She crossed her arms and frowned.

“You’re ridiculous.” Claire packed another ball and added it to their pile of ammo as two more snowballs flew overhead, way off course. “No way we can’t beat those two bookworms.”

“This is a waste of time.” But Kaia still jumped up and threw another one, her hand flying to her mouth when she saw that Mrs. Drew’s fluffy gray cat had climbed up on the other fort, right in the line of fire. It turned and hissed at her when the snowball hit the wall in front of it, exploding and sending snow everywhere. Including, apparently, right in the cat’s face from the way it flinched.

It looked like it wanted to jump at her but couldn’t seem to decide between that and running away, feet scrambling in the packed snow until it fell down on the far side, pulling a chunk of wall with it before darting up a nearby tree, shaking the snow off the branches.

Alex and Patience stood up, both completely covered in snow.

Kaia’s gasp turned into a chuckle. Then a laugh. Right up until they started rapid-fire throwing every snowball they had. Kaia ducked down having taken one in the shoulder.

“Think it counts if the cat did most of the work?” Claire asked.

“It totally counts,” Kaia forced out between laughs.

Claire didn’t think she’d ever seen Kaia look so happy. Yeah, this so wasn’t a waste of time.

Title: Great Team
Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing/Characters: Sam/Eileen
Rating/Warnings: G
Disclaimer: here
Prompt: scent of pine
Summary: Taking down vamps, weirding out Dean, they just made a great team.

Sam brushed snow from his coat and shook his head to get rid of whatever had landed in his hair. Eileen was doing the same, though with her hair tied back, it didn’t work as well, so she was picking out the pine needles that had gotten tangled. He picked a few out to help. They were a team, after all.

“I’m going to smell like a Christmas tree,” she complained.

“Is that bad?” he said and signed (as best as he could with gloves on anyway).

“Could be worse.” She gestured at the decapitated vampire.

“Yeah, I’ll take the scent of pine over vampire any day.” He chuckled. Gloves or no gloves, he’d butchered that.

“Let’s clean up here so we can go home and enjoy a real tree,” she said. “Also, I can teach you to sign vampire so it doesn’t look like candy.”

“That did not look like candy!”

“Only if you’re Canadian.” She smirked. “Maybe we should make candy vampires for stocking stuffers.”

He laughed, imagining the scandalized look on Dean’s face and the confused look on Cas’.

“Perfect. We’ll pick up supplies on the way home.”

Eileen smiled back. Yeah, they made a great team.
