Charlie listened, smiling, hands already resting at Neville’s waist.
“You are standing right under it,” Charlie said.
Neville blinked. Looked up. Froze.
“Oh,” he said, soft and helpless.
Charlie leaned in slowly, giving him time to step away. Neville did not. He reached up instead, fingers curling into Charlie’s jacket.
The kiss was warm and unhurried. Outside, snow fell. Inside, Neville laughed quietly, forehead pressed to Charlie’s, feeling exactly where he belonged.
