Inuyasha stared at the fluid-filled sphere. "Hey, Kagome, what's this thing?"
She grinned, shaking it, and sending little flakes of white swirling through the liquid. "This is a snow globe."
"A 'snow globe', huh?" Regarding the object, Inuyasha tilted his head. "What's it for?"
"It's not for anything, really," Kagome explained. "It's a decoration. This one has a music box built into it." Turning the snow globe over, she wound a key in its base, and a delicate little tune wafted from it. "See?"
Inuyasha sniffed. "Seems kinda dumb, if you ask me. What's the point of it, anyway?"
Later, though, Kagome was pleased to find Inuyasha staring in childlike fascination at the little snow globe.
