Title: 'The Ninth Wonder'
Fandom: Original Fiction
Characters: Original
Rating: G
Rodric plopped down next to me on the park bench. "You look cold."
I grinned, puffing air into my cupped hands as I tried my best not to shiver. "That's probably because I am cold. I mean, I could be mistaken, but I doubt it."
"Well, then, it's a good thing I brought this along with me," he stated.
He pushed a warm cup into my hands, sipping at one of his own. I hadn't even noticed that he had anything with him.
I took a sip, and beamed. "Peppermint coffee! Rodric, you've got to be the ninth wonder of the world!"
"The ninth," Rodric echoed, tilting his head in perplexity. "There were only seven. So what'd be the eighth?"
"This coffee!"
