Title: 'Preparations'
Fandom: Friends
Characters: Phoebe Buffay, Monica Geller
Rating: G
"So, what kind of preparations are you making for the New Years party this year," Phoebe asked as she helped Monica pick up the last few shreds of wrapping paper from the gang's Christmas celebration.
"Well, I thought I'd decorate with little castles and igloos made out of sugar cubes and royal icing. I'll fill them with spice gumdrops and gingerbread. I might even dye some of the sugar; blue for windows, and that kind of thing."
Phoebe beamed. "Oh, that sounds so good! I'll bet that'll be adorable!"
"But one thing's for sure," Monica continued as she carefully folded a larger piece of paper; it'd be a good one to save for the next holiday season. "I'm not letting Ross and Chandler anywhere near the champagne-filled chocolates like last year!"
"Oohh," Phoebe nodded. She winced a bit at the memory. "Those were two hungover little puppies the next day."
"You said it. Those boys just can't hold their chocolate."
