"Hey, chaps, come on," Davy called from just outside the front door of the Pad. He gestured to them anxiously, though his eyes were sparkling with excitement. "Get the lead out, you lot!"
Glancing over at him as he fetched a cola from the icebox, Peter tilted his head. "What's on your mind, David, that's got you so jumpy?"
"Yeah," Mike agreed, idly strumming on his guitar. "Where's the fire, ol' buddy?" He grinned. "You're actin' like a happy puppy, or a kid who just got himself his own candy store."
Davy stared blankly at them. "Come on, you guys! The sun's going down!"
Leaning over the railing upstairs, Micky laughed, staring down at him. "Yeah? So? It might surprise you, man, but that kinda happens every twenty-four hours. Don't you have sunsets in England?"
"Very funny. But don't you get it? It's Christmastime! I thought we might go for a ride, and take a look at everybody's Christmas decorations."
Peter smiled. "That's not a bad idea. And none of us are doing anything, just at the moment.
Micky slid down the railing, bursting with sudden enthusiasm. "Hey, that'll be lots of fun!"
"Count me in," Mike smilingly agreed.
