Megumi couldn't believe Erina asked her to stay at the Nakiri estate during the days before Christmas. The Nakiris, like everything they did, did Christmas extravagantly. Then, when she arrived, her breath was taken away at the sight of the Christmas tree outside the mansion. It was gorgeous, but more so, it reminded her of home.
"I shipped decorations from your home region when I decorated this tree," Erina said. "I wanted you to feel welcomed."
Megumi did, she truly did, and she spun around to kiss her thoughtful girlfriend. She filled that kiss with all her thanks and love.

Holly berries were strung along the walls as they made their way hand in hand to the kitchen. "I learned how to make a chocolate tart from Momo. It'll look like a sprig of holly berries when it's done," Megumi said as she kissed Erina's hands.
"Let me help. Please?"
Megumi couldn't say no and together they prepared the tart. Megumi loved every opportunity she had to be with Erina in the kitchen and learn from the God Tongue. Erina never made her feel less than a chef, not even when they were students at Toutsuki.
Megumi just felt loved.
