Title: 'Let's Get Wrapping!'
Fandom: Friends
Characters: Monica Geller
Rating: G
Monica staggered into the apartment, both arms overloaded with bags of goodies. She'd been shopping all day, doing her best to find the perfect gifts for everyone.
"Is it just me," she muttered to no one in particular--which was easy enough to do, since no one else was there--"or is this getting harder and harder to do every year? I can barely hold all this! Eh," she added, shrugging. "It's worth it."
Setting her bags down on the kitchen counter, she made her way to where she kept her wrapping supplies. Gleaming papers, bright ribbon of both the satin and curling varieties, labels waiting to have names scribbled on them, tape; she had everything she needed, in abundant supply. Gathering up a few rolls of paper, she turned back toward the table.
Halfway there, she paused, her eyes straying to the Christmas tree. Once again, she had outdone herself. The tree was a masterpiece, if she did say so, herself. It sparkled merrily, every light twinkling on every perfectly placed strand of tinsel.
In fact, there was only one detail to Monica's tree that could make it imperfect.
"Okay," she smiled, feeling happy and motivated. "Let's get wrapping!"
