Title: Christmas Party
Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing/Characters: Charlie/Jo, Ellen
Rating/Warnings: G
Disclaimer: here
Prompt: Christmas party
Summary: The Roadhouse clientele weren’t really much into “peace on earth” or “good will” of any kind.

The Roadhouse clientele weren’t really much into “peace on earth” or “good will” of any kind. Mostly they just came in and drank like any night. Charlie, though … Charlie brought a whole different energy to this year’s party. Jo didn’t think she’d ever seen anyone wear reindeer antlers unless it was a bet (or a trophy). Damn, how did she make that look sexy?

“You’re really gone on her, aren’t you?” Mom nudged Jo with her elbow.

“Kinda, yeah.”

“You gonna ask her to dance?”

Charlie looked over just then and smiled.

“Yeah.” Jo smiled back. “I think I am.”

Title: Yippy Christmas
Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing/Characters: Sam/Eileen
Rating/Warnings: G
Disclaimer: here
Prompt: puppy
Summary: Sam hoped she’d like her gift half as much.

Sam let himself be led into the war room, obediently covering his eyes.

“You really need a couch in here,” Eileen said, nudging him to sit. “Okay, you can open your eyes.”

Sam blinked a couple of times to get focused, just as a squirming ball of fur landed in his lap.

“What’s this?”

“Your present, silly.”

He grinned, first at her, then back at the puppy.

Eileen laughed and leaned in for a kiss. The puppy jumped up and licked them both instead.

“Merry Christmas,” she said.

“Merry Christmas,” he signed back.

The puppy wagged its tail and yipped.

Title: Home for the Holidays
Fandom: Supernatural
Pairing/Characters: Dean/Cas
Rating/Warnings: G
Disclaimer: here
Prompt: airport
Summary: Dean shouldn’t have pushed. There was nothing magical about tomorrow, no matter what people got their kids to believe.

Dean shouldn’t have pushed. Cas wasn’t back to full strength, and no angel had been able to fly since the Fall. There was nothing magical about tomorrow, no matter what people got their kids to believe. To hear Cas tell it, that Jesus kid was born in the spring anyway!

So Dean could have waited for Cas to drive back from the coast. Sure, it was probably smart to ditch that truck. He’d been driving it a little too long, really. But that didn’t mean he had to jump into a tube of metal that should not be able to fly just to get here faster.

Was it getting hot in here? It was getting hot in here. Maybe he should go back outside and make sure no one was giving his Baby a ticket. But then what if he missed Cas?

“Hello Dean.”

Dean spun around, grabbed Cas by the lapels and pulled him in for a kiss. After a minute, Cas even kissed back.

“Just glad you’re here in one piece,” Dean said, once they came up for air.

“I’ve missed you too.” Cas smiled. “Let’s go home.”

“I like the sound of that. Yeah, let’s go home.”

Title: Presence as Present
Fandom: Supernatural/Wayward Sisters
Pairing/Characters: Jody Mills, Claire Novak
Rating/Warnings: G
Disclaimer: here
Prompt: homemade gifts
Summary: Claire wasn’t as tough as she liked to think.

“What’s this?” Jody picked up the six-pack of … reindeer, she supposed. The antlers looked like they’d been cut from cardboard, possibly from another six-pack, and the eyes looked hand-drawn.

“It’s your Christmas present or whatever.” Claire shrugged. “Kinda didn’t have any other ideas.”

A smile tugged at Jody’s lips. Claire wasn’t as tough as she liked to think.

“You do this yourself?” She turned the six-pack back and forth. “Cute idea.”

Claire just shrugged again, neither taking nor deflecting the credit.

Jody set the gift down. “Glad you could make it, kiddo. We’ve missed you.”

“I kinda didn’t think of anything for Alex.” Claire’s eyes darted up to meet Jody’s, then back to her shoes. “Didn’t think you’d want me giving her beer.”

“You got that right.” Not that Alex didn’t probably drink plenty of beer, age or no age, but it was the principle of the thing. “She’ll be glad just to see you, too, but we can hit the mall if you want.”

Claire shrugged again, still studying her shoelaces. Her cheeks were pinker than they’d been when she first got in

At least she was home. It was progress. That was a good enough present for Jody.
