Gauging Interest Post

Hello, drabblers!
It’s a little early to be posting here, but I wanted to see how everyone is feeling about us re-opening the community this year.
I am not traveling this year, so I am available, and while I haven’t spoken to her, I suspect torino10154 is available as well, so we are willing to do our usual daily prompts and wrap-up posts if people remain interested in participating in our low stress Holiday “challenge”.
Of course, if you’re not willing to commit, there’s no problem with simply posting here during Advent, even if there’s not much interest and we don’t end up posting formal prompts.

So, the question.

Should we post daily Advent/Holiday Prompts this year, or should we just leave everyone to post here if they like, with no formal prompts?
I don’t feel like we need a formal poll (plus, I can’t recall how do make one), so just reply below with your vote, okay?

My dear, I'm just so pleased to see you that I'm sitting here smiling like a mad smiling thing (and I haven't really smiled for at least a week, not since the US signed its fucking death warrant the election).

I'm doing pretty well (aside from said death warrant). I'm loving retirement; my partner and I got to do some fun traveling last summer (to the UK and Sweden) and will go to San Fransisco in February to visit the Young Man (who is living there this year).

Indeed, smiles are few and far between these days.🙄
And I have no fucking idea what the fuck is happening here, but I did my part, so the people who voted against their own self interests will just have to figure it out. This black woman is tired of trying to bail out people who can’t be bothered to help themselves.

Anyway, YAY for retirement! I hope to get there one of these days. :)

Enjoy traveling! Now that my hips have been fixed, I’m hoping it will solve my mobility issues so I, too, can do some traveling in future. 🤞🏾
