And Mother likes her sweater
Suzie likes her pretty baby doll
But likes her candy better

Jimmy digs his brand new ten-speed bike
Albert loves the shiny Lionel train
But Aunt Carrie got a dud of a gift
That rubs against her grain

What was Uncle Jason thinking
By making her ever so miffed
Oh, why did he buy her a washer
For her major Christmas gift

Now they are not speaking
Oh, what are the rest of us to do
It was such a happy holiday
