Day 8: BBC Sherlock: Gen
Title: Extra, extra Generator

Notes: This is from an AU of mine where Lestrade is Santa, Moran is a reindeer groom, and everyone else (Sherlock, John, Mycroft, Moriarty, Molly, Irene, Anthea) are elves. And I want to write a story in this 'verse where the gang takes a summer road trip and sets up Christmas in July market and helps a little girl solve the murder of her grandfather. It's all in my head for the moment (except this 100 words).
“Looks good,” said Santa Lestrade. “Normally, I only worry about the sleigh, but for this special summer expedition, I want to make certain our fleet is in good condition.”
“Understood,” said Sebastian Moran. “Frankly, it’s a nice change, tending vehicles instead of reindeer. Here’s the two. You and I will be driving, won’t we?”
“Yeah, the elves can’t reach the pedals. Nor do they have a license. What’s that?”
“Extra, extra generator.”
“For emergencies?”
“No, for the fairy lights. If we’re going to set up a proper Christmas Market, we need a good display.”
“And by ‘good’ you mean…”
“Obnoxious!”
